Our self-watering pots use the ancient irrigation technique of the Ollas, which harnesses the natural porosity of ceramic to hydrate plants in a consistent and effective way. Water is stored in the outer pot and slowly diffuses to hydrate the roots. This method respects the plant's natural rhythm, giving it the water it needs, when it needs it.

How does the self-watering system work?
Our self-watering pots use the ancient irrigation technique of the ollas. They are made up of two parts: an inner pot where you place your plant and an outer pot that acts as a water reservoir.
Thanks to the natural porosity of the ceramic, water from the outer pot slowly diffuses into the inner pot to hydrate the plant's roots in a consistent and effective way. Your plant receives the water it needs, when it needs it — with no risk of overwatering or underwatering.
How long can the pot water my plant without my help?
Up to 2 weeks, depending on the plant and its environment. Perfect for going on holiday without having to ask the neighbours to come and water your plant 🏖️
Which plants is this pot suitable for?
It's suitable for indoor plants and aromatic herbs like basil. And it's perfect for plants that love humidity! It's only suitable for small plants, 9 cm in diameter or less.
Do I need to do anything special for maintenance?
An occasional gentle clean will be enough to prevent any build-up.
